The French Tech Tour America team is pleased to reveal the startups selected to participate in the 2018 edition!
The FTT America is a two-week immersion program created by Business France and BPI France. The nineteen handpicked companies have a clear objective: validate their roadmap in North America and get ready to launch on this market within the next 12 to 18 months.
For the program’s 12th edition, which is set to commence on October 9th, Canada will be hosting seven companies while the US will host twelve. North America is generally more risk-tolerant when it comes to new technologies, providing a promising opportunity for startups to receive feedback from this competitive market. The purpose of the French Tech Tour America is to accelerate the participants’ expansion, give them the tools to test their traction and validate their market penetration strategy.
Each startup will work on their positioning strategy and will benefit from coaching on their pitch, workshops designed to accelerate their implementation, personalized business meetings and networking in each ecosystem. The companies selected for the US track will split their time between New York and San Francisco, while those in the Canadian track will spend one week in Toronto and one week in Montreal.
