The French Startup Evercontact participant of the 2015 ubi i/o, accelerator program, has announced an impressive $1M fundraising round. The fully automated cloud service that updates CRM’s address books is well on its way to make an impressive impact.
The funding came from AXA Strategic Venture. AXA’s new venture capital fund launched last February to foster entrepreneurial discoveries in insurance, financial services and customer service.
“Evercontact came to our attention with its entrance into the Smart Data for Customer Intelligence incubator program launched by AXA Global Direct and Paris & Co last December. Contact management is obviously a major issue for insurance companies, especially when optimizing their sales relationships” commented Minh Q. Tran, General Partner of AXA Strategic Ventures and Managing Partner of AXA Factory. “Additionally, investing in technology related to Big Data is one of our priorities and Evercontact, as an innovator in this market, has a potential for international expansion that influenced our decision to provide support for its growth. Evercontact is the first startup to benefit from AXA Factory accelerator program”.
Evercontact’s first funding round of $1.2M in 2012 aimed at structuring its offer and building a scalable product. The new received funds will allow Evercontact to continue its international development alongside the ubi i/o, program with objective to open an office in San Francisco scheduled Q3 of 2015. It also brings essential resources to hire new talent. Indeed, Evercontact’s goal is to grow its team to 20 people by the end of 2015.
“The funds will enable us to shift into high gear, and particularly to expand our reach in the worldwide marketplace”, stated Philippe Laval, CEO of Evercontact. “Our service is already successful with US-based companies but our continued growth there requires a local presence, made possible by this support from AXA Strategic Ventures.”
We’re thrilled to share this great news with you, and can’t wait to welcome Evercontat’s team in San Francisco! Congrats to them!
