Impact alumni AB Tasty acquires session recording tool Nirror!
The Impact team is pleased to announce yet another milestone for AB Tasty, alumni of the 2016 edition of Impact.
AB Tasty is a French startup specialized in conversion optimization. After becoming the European leader in its space, registering a triple-digit growth for 4 years in a row, and raising a $5M series-A round in February 2016, AB Tasty has set its next challenge: conquering the U.S. market. A challenge indeed as the U.S. market is not only more mature than Europe’s in regards to conversion optimization but also more competitive as a few big players are already well established.
In order to kickstart their growth in the U.S., AB Tasty came to New York City in the spring of 2016 in order to take part in our acceleration program: Impact. The numerous workshops and tailored meetings with seasoned mentors, experts, American entrepreneurs and potential clients helped the founding team gain valuable market insights and devise a commercial strategy.
AB Tasty’s acquisition announcement of Nirror is key in their growth strategy, and even more so in their development in the U.S. market, where differentiation is crucial. Nirror’s solution is complementary to AB Tasty’s: where AB Tasty provides a quick and user-friendly way for marketing teams to implement A/B Testing and personalization on their website to improve customer experience and conversion rates, Nirror’s technology will help record, understand and analyze the customer’s journey, in order to pinpoint exactly where optimization efforts should be focused. Needless to say, the acquisition of Nirror creates a differentiation gap that will help AB Tasty gain U.S. market shares
