Steve Schlenker Managing Partner @ DN Capital
Steve Schlenker is a co-founder of DN Capital and has more than 20 years of venture capital and private equity experience. Steve’s focus at DN Capital is on enterprise software and digital media investments. Steve currently oversees DN Capital portfolio companies Apsalar, Avegant, Ombud, Distill, Delectable, FNBox, Geckoboard and HybridCluster. Steve was also responsible for DN Capital’s investments in Endeca (sold to Oracle), Datanomic (sold to Oracle), Familybuilder (sold to Intelius) and Lagan sold to (Kana/Verint), among others.
Prior to co-founding DN Capital, Steve was chief investment officer at SUN Capital Partners for technology investments, where he was involved in the successful sale of PlanetAll to Amazon. Steve also worked with the co-CEOs of SUN group to raise and invest a $150 million emerging markets buyout fund and to sell SUN Brewing to Interbrew, at the time one of the largest exits of a Russian consumer goods company to an international acquirer. Prior to SUN, he was at Interlaken Capital, a buyout fund in Greenwich, Connecticut, where he invested in consumer goods, industrial distribution, and service industry companies.
Steve received a BS in Economics, Summa Cum Laude, from the Wharton School of Finance with dual concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management, and an MBA, with high distinction, from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar.
