Marketing/PR Workshop @ ubi i/o

Jeudi dernier, un workshop Marketing/PR a été organisé pour nos participants.

Le workshop a commencé par une introduction et une session de question réponse collective avec nos trois intervenants, puis les participants de ubi i/o ont pu échanger un par un avec:  

    • Julie Mazziotta, Founder, Marketing & Social Media Expert at JM@rketing, concernant: la coordination marketing, les social media, automatisation du marketing et l’email marketing, le content marketing, lead generation, lead nurturing, lead scoring, demand generation, display et social advertising, search engine optimization, web design et conversion optimization, webinars & events marketing.

 

  • Rich Quarles, Marketing Strategist at glassCanopy Marketing, concernant: le messaging et le positioning, brand development, interactive, lead generation, et channel development.

 

 

  • Heather Fitzsimmons, Principal at Mindshare PR, concernant: : les agences PR ou in-house especially pour les technologies B2B; le corporate positioning, leadership, messaging et media/analyst relations

 

 

Les entreprises ont donc eu l’occasion de poser plusieurs questions concernant par exemple la segmentation marketing, le positionnement et le branding. Voici quelques extraits des réponses apportées: “Quand vous construisez votre produit, n’oubliez pas de penser à la façon dont vous allez mesurer son succès par la suite” “Listen and iterate” “Thing big but start small” “Categorize and track feedbacks” “You are not your customer so talk to them”

Last Thursday,  we held our weekly ubi i/o workshop here in our office. The topics for the week were Marketing and PR:

The workshop started with an introduction and Q&A session with our three panelists:

  • Heather Fitzsimmons, Principal at Mindshare PR, covered: PR either via agencies or in-house with a particular focus on B2B technology startups; corporate positioning, leadership, and messaging; and media/analyst relations

ubi i/o participants then had the opprtunity to meet each panelist individually and ask questions about marketing segmentation, positioning, and branding. Here are some of the tips we gleaned:
